Hari Anak Nasional, Aktivis Berkumpul di Rumah Engeline


"Cukup sudah kekerasan yang dialami anak-anak kita."


Memperingati Hari Anak Nasional yang jatuh pada hari ini, Kamis 23 Juli 2015, sejumlah aktivis mendatangi rumah mendiang Engeline, bocah 8 tahun yang dibunuh secara sadis oleh ibu angkatnya sendiri.

Juru bicara aktivis perlindungan anak, Ni Luh Anggraeni, menuturkan kehadiran para aktivis ke rumah Engeline di Jalan Sedap Malam Nomor 26 Denpasar memang sengaja dirancang untuk memperingati Hari Anak Nasional.

Tindakan itu diambil untuk mengingatkan semua pihak tentang pentingnya perlindungan hak-hak anak.

Pada kesempatan itu, Anggraeni berharap kasus kematian Engeline dapat terungkap secara tuntas.

"Kami datangi tempat ini, di mana di tempat ini Engeline dibunuh dan dikubur dengan cara yang tak sepatutnya. Kami berharap kasus kematian Engeline cepat terselesaikan," kata Anggraeni.

Anggraeni dan aktivis anak lainnya mendesak agar kepolisian aparat penegak hukum serius menangani kematian bocah kelas 3 SD tersebut.

Anggraeni tak memungkiri jika masih banyak kasus serupa dengan Engeline di negeri ini. Hanya saja ia berharap kematian Engeline menjadi lonceng terakhir kekerasan terhadap anak.


"Cukup sudah kekerasan yang dialami anak-anak kita. Jangan lagi ada peristiwa serupa seperti yang dialami Engeline," kata Anggraeni.



PRESIDEN TERIMA PBNU TERKAIT RENCANA MUKTAMAR



Presiden Terima PBNU Terkait Rencana MuktamarPresiden Joko Widodo Kamis(26/2) siang menerima Pengurus Besar Nahdatul Ulama di Istana Bogor. Dalam pertemuan yang berlangsung sekitar satu jam itu, Presiden menerima laporan mengenai rencana penyelenggaran Muktamar NU pada Agustus mendatang.

"Presiden sangat menyambut baik dan mendukung dan mendoakan muktamar sukses dan berhasil, keputusan-keputusannya bermanfaat untuk bangsa dan umat Islam," kata Ketua Umum PBNU KH Said Aqil Siroj kepada wartawan usai diterima Presiden di Kompleks Istana Bogor.

Said Aqil Siroj mengatakan Presiden selain menyambut baik juga mengatakan banyak hal yang bisa dibicarakan mengenai kebangsaan dan juga kemajuan umat.

"Harapan beliau NU bisa menjadi benteng Islam yang moderat, Islam yang ramah dan santun," 
katanya.

Said Aqil menjelaskan Muktamar akan dilangsungkan di empat pesantren masing-masing Tebu Ireng, Tambak Beras, Denanyar, dan Rejoso.

Dia menjelaskan, target dari kegiatan tersebut adalah mengembalikan dan mengokohkan kembali peradaban Islam sebagai pondasi keberlangsungan NKRI.

"Jadi Islam yang berbudaya yang beradab," katanya.

Menurutnya, juga ada pandangan mengenai gerakan radikal, NU mengatakan pihaknya sangat anti hal tersebut.

"Kita tegas dari dulu bahwa NU tegas anti radikalisme. Siapapun yang menggunakan kekerasan atas nama agama Islam salah," tegas Said Aqil Siroj.

Menurut ketua Umum PBNU, sejumlah negara Islam meminta pada Presiden agar Indonesia berada di garis depan dalam melawan ISIS dan melawan radikalisme.

Said Aqil Siroj didampingi oleh Ketua Panitia SC Muktamar Slamet Effendy Jusuf dan juga Wakil Ketua Umum PBNU Asad Said Ali.
